It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of Wor. Bro. Allan Grey, PPr Grand Steward (Northumberland, UGLE) to the Grand Lodge above on March 26th, 2015. Wor. Bro. Grey was a member of Delaval Lodge No. 2568, UGLE, affiliated with Oakville Lodge No. 400, with Lake Shore Lodge No. 645 on December 3rd, 2012 and was also a member of the Eat and Argue Club.
Wor. Bro Grey’s health had been in decline for some time but had dutifully served as Tyler of Lake Shore Lodge when he was able to attend. The brethren of Lake Shore Lodge would like to extend their condolences to the friends and family of Wor. Bro. Grey and we will always cherish his memories in our hearts.
Join us on March 2nd, 2015! Our lodge will be celebrating its 88th anniversary on this occassion. All members, please plan to attend lodge if you are able. The Master has invited Mississauga Lodge No. 524 to be our official visitors on this occassion, so please be there to welcome them! Also, the Worshipful Master would like to extend a welcome invitation to all of our sister Lodges to join us in celebrating 88 years of Masonry in Connaught Masonic Hall.
This years Medieval Feast was a great success! The night was filled with some great acting, food, laughter and all-around fun. With over thirty participants, the local townspeople and visitors from far-away lands were able to come together to embrace the masonic value of brotherly love as the Mayor and Sheriff keep a close eye on troublemakers. Sentencing those who broke town law to the stocks.
The axe-throwing competition was also a huge success and the winners left the feast that night with some great prizes. Of course, all of this could not have happened without the help of our lovely Masonic Wenches Vicky and Barb, and our fantastic cook, Mark.
